TH605 is a dual-duty coating made from aluminum and silicon carbide, providing both corrosion protection and a non-slip coating for metal surfaces. Its hard silicon carbide ensures excellent wear resistance, making it ideal for industrial and heavy-use environments.
TH605 is a cored wire, consisting of an aluminum sleeve filled with silicon carbide. The production process involves forming a flat strip of aluminum into a "U" shape, depositing silicon carbide powder inside, folding it over, and drawing it to size. The aluminum provides sacrificial properties for iron and steel substrates and acts as a binding matrix for the wear-resistant silicon carbide.
This corrosion-resistant spray coating ensures a long-lasting surface that offers both anti-slip properties and durability against wear.
